About Gerry:

I am Gerry MacKinnon, born in Nelson and a retired 28 year member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. As a Mountie, I served many areas in B.C., other parts of Canada and the U.S.A. I also spent time in Australia working with the Queensland State police before joining the R.C.M.P. in 1974.

At times, my passion for victims of crime brought me into conflict with various agencies who claimed they had no budget or time to work with these people. In a lot of cases, I felt the justice system was letting them down. I kept on working with them throughout my career, even if it meant losing days of pay to stand up for victims.

Approximately nine years ago, I was introduced to this incredible legal service company and five years ago with Kroll Background America. The two companies saw a rise in the incidents of Identity Theft They knew there was a need for protection and brought out a service to assist victims, the first of its kind.
